A Life as a living soul...

today is a day that i wont really forget easily...like any other days,i was making my way home from work when i come across a huge crowd near my home.to my curiousity i approached forward to check it out.

there i heard a passing conversation "someone is about to jump..." during that time it was around 6.30pm when i reached the spot.many have stayed around the bottom of block 44 staring up the top storey (around 14 floors up) to my first sight was nothing but the clear sky.But as i stayed on and looked upwards longer ,an image of a man around the 20s walking to and fro from the edge. there he starts looking down frequently at the crowd.

as much as my shocking expression,to see a sight of a live person waiting to bring his life to expiry was something one ould never expect to encounter at all.and there he is standing there.the crowd below was pretty much awaiting for something to happen as well. Medics and civil def officals quickly got into the act and set up air bags to prevent any accidential fall offs.

this dragged on till the nite and as the crowd gets large and the sky gets darker. ppl starts getting impatient and starts getting irrational in a way... i was quite annoyed to come across the fact that ppl starts shouting for the person to jump .with kids sitting in the front view and adults(mostly bangalas for some reason)shouting encouragement to jump has greatly sadden me upon seeing how we being humans can be such evil beings....

negotiators stayabout above trying their best to convince the victim to move back from the edge the first time was a slight fall back when the victim shows signs of jumping off by placing one leg on the edge. around 8.30 pm.things got critical as the victim shows no regrates on giving up his life.and as the negotiators tried for the second time swiftly and caught hold of him just in time when 3/4 of his body was at the edge of the wall.Sounds of cheers and clapping were heard from the victim was apprehended and brought down to the ambulance before more clapping and cheers were heard again.peace have again returned to to this quiet urban area. personally i feel over this incident has made me see the more dark side of human natures.everyone's wanting to see blood pouring out over others.maybe it might be some kind of animal instinct within us that is waiting to explode but seriously.does that satify ppl so much to see death upon others?i gues human is not as "civilized " as wat we expected to be as yet.
